Equatorial New Guinea National Flag
History
The flag was adopted on 12th October 1968, when the state gained independance. During the leadership of Francisco Nguema (1972-79) the flag was changed, but the original 1968 flag has been in use again since 1979.A horizontal tricolor of green over white over red, with a blue triangle at the hoist, and the coat of arms in the white band. The arms are grey with a silk cotton tree. Above are six yellow stars representing the mainland and islands. Under shield is the motto UNIDAD - PAZ - JUSTICIA.
Sewn flags are manufactured from MoD approved woven polyester with the design (where present) appliqued in MoD approved knitted polyester flag fabric. All flags are supplied complete with headband, rope and toggle or alternative fixing of your choice and ready to fly.
