FUNERALS

Should you wish to lay a flag across the top of a coffin we recommend a 3 yard flag as being the most appropriate size.

G8 – LIVE 8

We were extremely proud in manufacturing African and G8 country flags for the G8 event held at Murrayfield RUFC Stadium on 6th July 2005. Some 150 National flags were printed and sewn onto tape to create colourful backdrops around the main stage area. Two special Walk to Justice flags were also manufactured depicting the geographical map of the African continent together with the additions of “toes” to symbolise a foot.

2007 RUGBY WORLD CUP

Support the UK teams in France this year with fabric banners and flags depicting your team colours, nationality or with a message of your choice. We also have UK handwaving flags.
Supporters flags often consist of either the flag of St George or the White Ensign (English supporters), the St Andrew’s cross (Scottish supporters) or the Welsh Dragon (Welsh supporters). These flags may then be defaced with text, perhaps with the supporter’s club name, club nickname or star player. We have made some huge flags over the years and for safety reasons these very large stadium flags are fire proofed.

2011 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE HELD IN SHANGHAI

2011 WORLDSKILLS TO BE HELD IN THE UK

WorldSkills is the highlight of the international skills calendar, the biennial event bringing together member countries from across the world to pit the skills of their young people against the best the world has to offer. An exciting and engaging spectacle, the competition is open to visitors who are able to get a close up view of competitors as they battle it out against the clock and those difficulties that are commonly experienced in the workplace. In effect it provides a platform and focal point for nations in dealing with their skills issues.

2012 OLYMPICS

We at Flying Colours Flagmakers did our part in Successfully winning the Olympic games for Britain in 2012. We manufactured a large flag depicting 12 of London’s Boroughs with a generic central logo, each Borough flag was then signed by thousands of people of all professions, including school children. Finally the flag received autographs from sports personalities. The flag was then assembled and showed their support and enthusiasm for hosting the games.
In the run up to, and during 2012, we look forward to manufacturing many products for the largest event ever to be staged in the UK.

Please contact us for fabric and PVC banners, bunting, flags and poles, and handwaving flags.
