BEACH FLAGS AND FEATHER FLAGS

Supplied complete with aluminium or glass fibre pole and accessories.

A relatively new concept, designed in mainland Europe to create a new and exciting approach to advertising. This product has proved popular with sports companies including ski, surf, mountain bike, skateboard and other sports equipment manufacturers and promoters. Indoor and outdoor versions are also available and make excellent point of sale backdrops.

Beach flags are supplied with an aluminium pole made from 3 or 4 rigid parts which slot into each other. The flags themselves are shaped at the top and may be either 330 x 85 cms or 440 x 85 cms in size. They are manufactured from polyester cloth and printed with artwork of your choice. The pole comes complete with a shaped base which screws into soft ground, clear instructions and carrying bag. Alternative bases are available for hard ground and free standing use.

Feather flags are suitable for indoor use and come with a flexible pole manufactured from glass fibre which is fixed on to a metal foot (also supplied). The flags themselves are shaped at the top and are 180cms x 45 cms in size, manufactured from polyester (Estrella) cloth and printed with artwork of your choice.

BUDGET FLAGS

£10.00 each plus delivery and VAT

Budget flags are manufactured in the Far East from lightweight polyester fabric and are available in one size of 5’ x 3’. Due to their method of manufacture and fabric they are not suitable for long term outdoor use but are fine for short term and occasional use.

Traditional British flags are manufactured on a 2:1 ration (eg 6’ x 3’) and therefore budget flags do not look well when flown next to traditional UK manufactured flags due to the disparity in size.

We stock budget flags of most countries, including the countries of the UK, as well as fun flags such as The Skull and Crossbones (Jolly Roger) and Chequer flags.

BURGEE FLAGS (YACHT CLUB FLAGS)

Burgee flags are found in yacht, sailing and marine clubs and have a bespoke device, emblem or crest positioned on a triangular flag/pennant.

Flags are manufactured from MoD approved woven polyester flag fabric, hemmed and finished with headband rope and toggle ready to fly.

CEREMONIAL CIVIC AND HERALDIC FLAGS

It gives us great pleasure to manufacture these beautiful flags and our clients are justifiably proud to own and display them.

Our Ceremonial, civic and heraldic flags are found in castles, museums and civic halls nationally. We also manufacture these flags for Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and recently had the honour to manufacture the largest Royal Standard in existence which is currently flown at Windsor Castle and measures 38’ x 19’.

These flags are manufactured from ceremonial flag fabrics or MoD approved flag fabrics; design work tends to be appliquéd (sewn), and dressed to specification with fringes, cords and tassels. We also finish flags and standards with castellation sleeves and shaped fly ends on client request.

For ceremonial duties we also offer leather slings with buckets and wooden standard bearers’ poles complete with brass fittings and arrowheads.

GOVERNMENTAL FLAGS

We hold patterns for civic flags and produce flags for councils and their regions. Please contact us with your details and we will confirm prices subject to sight of artwork and size of flag. If you are not sure of your flag size we can generally work this out together during a brief telephone conversation.

LOGO FLAGS (COMPANY, CORPORATE AND HOUSE FLAGS)

We manufacture any quantity of flags from ‘one offs’ to thousands, and we advise on the most cost effective and appropriate method of manufacture to suit your particular need.

We offer fast quotations subject to sight of artwork, and details of quantity required, number of colours and size together with your anticipated delivery times.

Should you require an urgent delivery then we can normally despatch small orders within 24 hours subject to certain agreed criteria.

CHURCH/DIOCESE

Together with the Flag of St George many Church’s throughout our country fly Diocese Flags, which is the Flag of St George with an emblem (the local Diocese of that particular area) manufactured in the top left hand canton of the St George flag.

We can manufacture all the Diocese flags of the Anglican community of Great Britain and Ireland, together with all other religious flags such as Jesus Army, Christian flag and not forgetting other religions such as the Buddhist flag.

HISTORIC AND OBSELETE FLAGS

Many countries have either changed their name or altered their flag over the years, for example the United Kingdom did this during the development of our National flag – The Union (Jack). Other examples include the USA , Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), the Soviet Union and South Africa.

We manufacture these flags in all sizes from original patterns and our own archives, which have become invaluable, especially for historic films, period dramas, museum work and collectors.

MILITARY FLAGS

Popular military flags can be found in the “UK Flags” section. We manufacture any British Army and Regimental Flag, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Joint Service flags.

MASONIC FLAGS

These flags can be challenging to manufacture as there may be little information to work from, especially when the original flag has faded or been damaged. In most cases we can build up all the required facts from research into archives. New instructions are sometimes supplied by graphic designers or people with artistic skills who wish us to create an original piece of work.

Masonic banners are either embroidered or hand painted and finished with bullion cord and castellation sleeves ready for your display or frame.

PENNANTS & VIMPELS

Pennant flags are elongated and triangular; they are found in yacht clubs (burgees) but are also popular in theme parks and fairytale settings.

Vimpels are long, thin, triangular flags, often with a national flag design sewn towards the hoist end. They are available in all sizes and can be flown in all conditions; eventually over a period of time the fly end weathers away without damaging or detracting from the flag art work.

CAR PENNANTS

Screen printed to both sides on white satin fabric. Choice of ten standard colours or optional Pantone colours complete with padded interlining. Plastic support and finished with your colour choice of trimming and pompons (choice of 5 colours – red, yellow, gold, blue or white).

SUPPORTERS FLAGS

These flags are particularly popular during the World Cup or European Championships, and consist of either the flag of St George or the White Ensign (English supporters), the St Andrew’s cross (Scottish supporters) or the Welsh Dragon (Welsh supporters). These flags may then be defaced with text, perhaps with the supporter’s club name, club nickname or star player. We have made some huge flags over the years and for safety reasons these stadium flags are fire proofed.
